Niacinamide became one of those ingredients where the percentage on the bottle started mattering more than what the science actually said. Once 10% serums became popular, higher concentrations quickly became the benchmark — even though more Niacinamide does not automatically mean better results.
That is why this formula uses 5% Niacinamide on purpose. It is a well-established concentration for the benefits people actually buy Niacinamide for: helping regulate excess oil, reducing the appearance of enlarged pores, supporting the skin barrier and gradually improving uneven tone and post-acne marks.
We also didn't formulate it like a mattifying treatment whose job is simply to make oily skin feel drier. Acne-prone and oily skin can still be dehydrated, sensitised or over-treated, so the formula pairs Niacinamide with Panthenol, Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid to support hydration and skin comfort at the same time.
That makes it quite different from the high-percentage, single-active Niacinamide serums that dominate the category. The goal here isn't to win a concentration contest. It is to create a serum you can use consistently to actually get the benefits.
Apply 2–3 drops to clean, slightly damp or dry skin after cleansing and before moisturiser.
Use once or twice daily, morning and/or evening. This is designed as an everyday serum, so there is no need to cycle it like an exfoliating acid.
It can be used alongside Vitamin C, Azelaic Acid, Salicylic Acid and retinoids.
5% Niacinamide
A multi-tasking form of Vitamin B3 that helps regulate excess oil, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, support the skin barrier and gradually improve uneven tone and post-acne marks.
The 5% concentration is deliberate: it sits within the range where Niacinamide has strong evidence for several of its core skin benefits, without chasing a higher percentage simply because it looks more impressive on the label.
Panthenol
Also known as Pro-Vitamin B5, Panthenol helps hydrate and soothe the skin while supporting barrier comfort.
It is particularly useful here because oily and acne-prone skin is often simultaneously dehydrated, irritated or over-treated. The goal is to balance oil without making skin feel stripped.
Hyaluronic Acid
A humectant that helps attract and retain water in the skin, supporting hydration without adding a heavy or greasy feel.
It complements Niacinamide by helping keep the serum comfortable enough for regular daily use.
Glycerin
Another highly effective humectant that helps draw water into the outer layers of the skin and reduce that tight, dehydrated feeling oily skin can still experience.
Aqua, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Panthenol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Disodium EDTA, Lactic Acid.

A balanced 5% Niacinamide serum for oily, visible-pore and acne-prone skin.
Formulated with 5% Niacinamide to help regulate excess oil, reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, support the skin barrier and gradually improve mild post-acne marks — without turning your everyday serum into another aggressive acne treatment.
The 5% concentration is deliberate: more Niacinamide is not automatically better. We paired it with Panthenol, Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid so oily skin gets the balancing support it needs without treating hydration like the enemy.

FAQs
5% is absolutely enough to deliver meaningful Niacinamide benefits.
We chose 5% deliberately because Niacinamide has evidence for benefits including oil regulation, barrier support and improvement in uneven pigmentation at concentrations in the lower single-digit range. A 10% serum is not automatically twice as effective simply because the number is twice as high.
If your skin already loves 10%, there is no need to fear it. But if higher-strength formulas leave you red, irritated or uncomfortable, dropping the concentration can make much more sense than giving up on Niacinamide altogether.
No ingredient can physically close pores, but it can make them look less noticeable.
Pore size is influenced by factors including genetics, oil production and congestion. Because Niacinamide can help regulate excess oil and improve overall skin texture, enlarged pores can become less prominent over time.
If your pores are filled with blackheads or clogged bumps, however, Niacinamide alone may not be enough — in this case a formulation like our Encapsulated Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide Serum or our Salicylic Acid Serum may be more appropriate.
No — Niacinamide should not cause true purging.
It is not an exfoliating acid or retinoid that significantly accelerates cell turnover. If you develop persistent new breakouts after introducing a Niacinamide serum, don't automatically assume you need to “push through.”
The problem may instead be irritation, another ingredient in the product, too many new products at once or something else in your routine.
It is excellent support for acne-prone skin, but it is not a substitute for a direct acne treatment when you have significant congestion or recurring breakouts.
Niacinamide can help with excess oil, barrier function, redness and the marks pimples leave behind. But it does not exfoliate inside clogged pores.
For blackheads, whiteheads and recurring clogged pores, our Encapsulated Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide Serum is the more targeted choice for oily skin, while our Salicylic Acid Serum is the better choice for more stubborn acne that is not necessarily be accompanied by extreme oiliness.
Yes. Niacinamide is one of the easiest actives to combine with the rest of a skincare routine.
It can be used alongside Vitamin C, Salicylic Acid, Azelaic Acid and retinoids, and its barrier-supporting role can actually make it a useful companion to stronger treatment products.
You do not need to separate Niacinamide and Vitamin C because of the old internet myth that they “cancel each other out.”
Yes, particularly mild post-acne pigmentation and uneven tone.
Niacinamide helps interfere with the transfer of pigment into surrounding skin cells, so consistent use can gradually make flat post-acne marks less noticeable.
If your dark marks are very stubborn or pigmentation is your main concern, a more pigment-focused formula such as Powerhouse Serum will generally make more sense.
Expect gradual improvement rather than an overnight transformation.
Oil balance and overall skin comfort may start improving within around 4–6 weeks. Changes in post-acne marks and overall tone typically need 8–12 weeks of consistent use.
Visible pores also change gradually because the serum is improving the factors that make them more noticeable rather than literally shrinking the pore itself.
Not necessarily.
If another product in your routine already contains a meaningful amount of Niacinamide and you're happy with the results, there is no rule saying you need another dedicated serum.
A standalone 5% serum makes the most sense when oil, visible pores, barrier support or mild post-acne marks are specific concerns you want to target more deliberately.
More Niacinamide products layered together do not automatically mean better results.
Yes — the 5% concentration and supporting formula were specifically designed with everyday tolerability in mind.
Niacinamide is paired with Panthenol, Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid to support hydration and skin comfort rather than making this a harsh oil-stripping treatment.
Very reactive skin should still patch test and introduce any new product gradually.

★★★★★ My Third Bottle and Counting — This Serum Actually Understood My Skin
I'm 18 and have been dealing with acne, post-acne marks, and blemishes for a while now. Almost my entire skincare routine is Korean brands, so Accufix is actually the one exception — and it's earned that spot completely.
Before finding this serum, I tried The Ordinary's 10% Niacinamide (even the one with TXA), thinking higher percentage meant better results. Instead, it just broke down my skin barrier and left me constantly irritated. I genuinely thought irritation was just "normal" for niacinamide until a dermatologist on social media replied to my comment explaining that percentage matters more than people realize, and that most people actually do better with something closer to 5% instead of 10%. That single piece of advice changed everything for me.
Accufix's Niacinamide Serum was the first 5% niacinamide product I could find at the time, and from my very first use, I didn't feel an ounce of irritation. It also has Panthenol (B5) and Hyaluronic Acid in it, which give a real hydration boost and keep the formula gentle instead of stripping my skin further.
The results weren't overnight — it took a few weeks before I started noticing changes — but they've been steady and lasting, not the fast-fade kind of results you get from harsher actives. I really respect that Accufix isn't chasing trends or promising instant fixes; they're clearly formulating for what actually works long-term.
As a Pakistani brand competing in a market where a lot of people default to international or Korean skincare, Accufix has proven that they deserve just as much trust and attention. I'm now on my third bottle, and I don't see myself switching anytime soon. I've also seen their brand content, including their dermatologist, and it's clear this brand is built on real skincare knowledge, not just marketing.
Thank you, Accufix, for making a product that respects both my skin and my patience. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with sensitive, acne-prone skin looking for something gentle yet effective.
I ordered the nicainamide serum and the face wash it has helped my skin alot with weeks. My acne has reduced alott would absolutely buy again
Excellent serum
It soothes inflammation and controls oil production
"I recently received the AccuFix Cosmetics Niacinamide Serum as a gift, and it has completely transformed my skincare routine! In just a short time, this incredible formula has significantly repaired and strengthened my skin barrier. I've noticed a visible reduction in skin texture, and my face now looks beautifully glowy, plump, and deeply hydrated. The powerful ingredients in this serum work like magic. I couldn't be happier with the results—highly recommended for anyone looking for that healthy, lit-from-within glow!"
"Apologies for the late review, but I wanted to use these products consistently before sharing my feedback! I am absolutely loving the AccuFix Cosmetics Actives Niacinamide Serum and Kojic Acid Glutathione Brightening Cream. The Niacinamide serum has completely balanced my skin's oil production and minimised my pores, while the Kojic Acid cream has safely and visibly reduced my dark spots and uneven skin tone. Both formulas are incredibly lightweight, non-sticky, and gentle on the skin. Thank you so much, AccuFix, for providing such premium, safe, and effective skincare solutions in Pakistan! Highly recommended!"
Niacinamide serum is actually pretty great. Hydrating but not sticky. Instantly became part of my daily skincare routine.
I've been using their products since 1.5 years and I'm satisfied. recently, I tried niacinamide serum and it's working well for my skin. appearance of my skin has improved.
amazing product I received it as free gift I wasn't expecting good results but it amazed me when I saw a noticable reduction in my facial oil production I had pores on my cheeks recently but now it has removed all that no brand in Pakistan that could stand opposite to accufix genuine medical formulation
It’s been 1 week Im using this and glutathione cream omg my skin is glowing my scars are fading love it :)
love it, its so gentle on my skin. I don't have acne but i've been using it to regulate my skin barrier, Once i had reaction to the accufix Salicylic acid gel face wash (due to over use) and i was adviced to use niacinamide, it calmed my skin in under 5 minutes. and i love the fact that this is a Pakistani brand. will buy again.
