What is Acne?
Acne is a common skin condition where pores become clogged with oil, dead skin, or bacteria—leading to blackheads, whiteheads, pustules, or painful cysts. It can show up anywhere: face, chest, back, or shoulders. From hormonal acne to fungal acne and pimples on the forehead (you can read our blog on the different types of acne and how to identify what you’re dealing with to learn more), all types of acne require the right skin care so you can achieve clear skin long-term.
Our Acne Story
AccuFix was born out of our founder’s 7-year struggle with acne. She tried everything but was unable to find anything that truly worked and that personal struggle is what inspired the creation of clinically-formulated, chemist-developed skincare made specifically for problematic skin.
You can learn more about her and why she started AccuFix here.
Since AccuFix was founded in 2019, we’ve helped tens of thousands of customers achieve their desired skincare transformations sustainably, and without the side effects associated with traditional acne medications.

Acne Treatment & Prevention
To sustainably manage acne, you need a complete skincare routine. One product can never give you exceptional results in isolation if the other products in your routine don’t also support it. A skincare routine for acne consists of 4 main steps: cleanse, treat, moisturize, spf
Fungal Acne Treatment
If you have Oily Skin and are dealing with small bumps on your forehead (fungal acne), use: Gentle Foaming Gel Cleanser daily, Salicylic Acid Gel Face Wash 3 times a week at night, Crème B3-B5 as your moisturizer, and The Ultimate Sunscreen SPF 50+ for sun protection.
If you have Dry Skin with fungal acne, go for: Hydrating Gentle Cleanser daily, Salicylic Acid Gel Face Wash 3 times a week, Crème B3-B5 to moisturize, and Invisible Shield Centella SPF 50 PA++++ for daytime protection.
Hormonal Acne Treatment
For Oily Skin with hormonal acne (deep, painful pimples), use: Gentle Foaming Gel Cleanser daily, Salicylic Acid Gel Face Wash 3 times a week at night, Crème B3-B5 for hydration, and The Ultimate Sunscreen for UV protection.
If your skin is Dry and prone to hormonal breakouts, use: Hydrating Gentle Cleanser daily, Salicylic Acid Cleanser 3 times a week, Crème B3-B5 to moisturize, and Invisible Shield Centella SPF 50 for protection.
Non-Inflammatory Acne Treatment
For whiteheads, blackheads, or clogged pores (Comedones) use: Hydrating Gentle Cleanser daily, Salicylic Acid Serum 3 times a week, Crème B3-B5 for moisture, and either Centella SPF or The Ultimate SPF depending on your skin type.
