Our Salicylic Acid Cleanser is made for that combination. Salicylic acid works inside oily pores to help loosen the buildup that forms blackheads and whiteheads, while glycolic acid exfoliates the surface to help smooth rough, uneven texture.

And you don't need to have very oily skin to benefit from salicylic acid. Congestion can happen in normal, combination and even dry-leaning acne-prone skin. That's one reason this formula has a more emollient base with ingredients such as Grapeseed Oil and Honey, rather than being designed like a strongly degreasing oily-skin face wash.

Will an exfoliating cleanser dry me out?

It can if you use it more often than your skin needs. This is a more active cleanser, so you don't need to use it at every wash to get value from it. Introduce it into your routine slowly by using it around 2-3 times per week and build up to a maximum of once daily if you tolerate it well. If your skin starts feeling tight, dry, or irritated, reduce frequency of use. Also avoid stacking multiple exfoliants into your skincare routine especially if you aren’t an experienced user.

Salicylic Acid Face Wash Gel is the lighter option for mainly oily skin, excess oil, blackheads and clogged pores. It contains 1% salicylic acid and is fungal-acne safe.

Salicylic Acid Cleanser combines salicylic acid with glycolic acid and has a more emollient base. Choose it when rough texture and closed comedones are a major concern alongside clogged pores, especially if your skin is not extremely oily.

Yes, but be careful about using too many exfoliating products in the same routine.

If you already use retinol, adapalene, salicylic acid serums, glycolic acid or other strong treatments, introduce this cleanser slowly and consider using them on different nights.

More exfoliation does not always mean faster results. Too much can lead to dryness, irritation and a damaged skin barrier.

It can be very useful for comedonal acne, clogged pores, blackheads, whiteheads and small bumps, and some people may find that an exfoliating cleanser is enough for their needs.

If your acne is more stubborn, you can use a leave-on treatment instead, depending on your skin:

Encapsulated Salicylic Acid + Niacinamide Serum → oily skin, pores and recurring congestion.
1.5% Salicylic Acid Serum → more stubborn acne, comedones and fungal-acne-prone skin.
Azelaic Acid Serum → acne with redness, sensitivity or post-acne marks.

I am a teen with dry skin, I know this cleanser is perfect for oily skin but I wanted a cleanser that is also exfoliating and this is perfect although for dry skin I would definitely recommend their HYDRATING CLEANSER. I have been using this cleanser everyday day but it didn't damaged my skin barrier like other exfoliating products they can irritate the skin after continues use of them. But this is Soo gentlee...😭😭

I honestly never thought cleansers made much of a difference and always considered them one of the most overrated skincare products. But this cleanser completely changed my mind. I had visible blackheads, comedones, oily skin, and active acne, which made me very insecure and confused about what to do.

Then I started with just 3 products:

1. Accu Fix Salicylic Acid Cleanser

3. Adapco (0.1% adapalene)

These three products completely changed my skin over time.

The salicylic acid cleanser helped clear clogged pores and reduce blackheads. Adapalene was the most effective in preventing new acne and clearing existing congestion, but it required patience and proper moisturizing. The Crème B3-B5-E worked well as a moisturizer and helped keep my skin balanced.

Over 6 months, my active acne reduced significantly and my skin became much less congested and healthier overall.

I've been using accufix cleanser and emuslion since 2020 . This duo has been a game changer for my acne prone skin . I used to get cystic acne ever since I hit puberty and not even meds could cure my condition. It's a non drying formula, used in pea size amount and it can easily last you 2 to 3 months. I Never purchased another cleanser , blindly trust accufix!

One of the best cleansers I have used.

I have dry, acne prone skin but it switches to being oily at some sites during summers. When I started using this product, it made me breakout MORE but then after 2 weeks of using it only at night, my skin started to adjust and then my acne started clearing up, my skin got brighter. I paired it with B5 creme, but this guy does not strip your skin, if anything, after I use it I feel more hydrated.
If you struggle with more breakouts with this product, i suggest you try to use it only once on alternate days and use a moisturiser to lock in hydration. It worked for me.
(Also its far more affordable than my Cera Ve or any of the korean facewashes I bought.) I highly reccomend!
